My Hometown
I grew up in a small town called Hyden, KY. It is located in the Appalachian Mountains and has a population of around 3,000 people. The town doesn't have much to offer but it does have a very strong community and a lot of natural beauty in all the mountains and rivers surrounding it.
Education and Career Plans
I'm currently purusing my bachelor's degree in Allied Health with a emphasis in Cybersecurity. After I graduate I plan to work within the healthcare industry and furthering myself within my current role as a Biomedical Equipment Technician or possibly advance into a CE IT role. I have always been interested in technology and how it can be used to improve healthcare, so I think this is a great fit for me.
My Relationship with the Internet
I use the internet on a daily basis for personal, professional, educational and entertainment purposes. I feel that the internet has become an essential part of everyone's lives due to everyone being able to access most information at their findetips. However, I also enjoy disconnecting occasionally and spending time outdoors with family and friends. I think everyone should have a balance between their online life and the life they have offline as well.
